Even the instructions advise you to only use in well ventilated areas. They may disinfect, but at the same time, they are harmful to you. OHc is derived from natural plants with no added alcohols or toxic chemicals. The essential oils do the work without harmful side effects. OHc is also a much safer cleaner around your kids and pets. Since we disclose every ingredient in our product, you will find no hidden ingredients with formaldehyde derivatives.
OHc is all about essential oils: Pure therapeutic grade essential oils are the main ingredients and working force in OHc. These essential oils are not merely added ingredients for aroma, they are the active ingredients! The aroma is not used as a background effect; it is the all around effect. Essential oils clean your home naturally. We do not dilute or combine our oils with any ingredients other than organic vinegar and purified water. By doing this we maximize the effects of the pure therapeutic grade essential oils. This creates a slightly more costly product, but one that it is completely natural.
Kills Harmful Bacteria: Not only does OHc clean, shine, and degrease surfaces, but according to FDA standards, scientific tests have proven it kills the resistant and harmful bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Who are the most susceptible people to encounter Pseudomonas aeruginosa? People with low immunities such as the elderly; cancer patients going through chemotherapy; individuals with cystic fibrosis; and individuals prone to urinary tract infections and/or respiratory infections. With OHc you can confidently clean your home, hospital room, car interior, office and especially spa hot tubs with this completely natural cleaner.
Testing confirms that other harmful bacteria, such as escherichia coli. (e-coli) and Klebsiella pneumoniae were significantly reduced and it appears that both of these bacteria would have been killed in approximately 7 minutes if sprayed and left to work on a surface. Although it may take a few minutes longer for essential oils to kill these bacteria, the effect lasts longer than bleach. Plus, you are not harming the earth or yourself!
Space saver/Compact/Green: OHc is a multipurpose cleaner. You save space and help save the earth by using less bottles; creating less waste. We are an all-in-one bottle! No separate cleaner necessary for windows, mirrors, stainless steel, granite, tile, toilets, tubs, sinks, shower doors, lunch boxes, computer monitors, refrigerator, microwaves, appliances or room deodorizer. The only addition we would suggest is sprinkling baking soda on the surface when you need an abrasive for those sinks, toilets and tubs.
No Preservative or Dyes: Preservatives are normally added to maintain shelf life of a product. We do not use any added preservatives. Essential oils contain their own natural preservatives. Dyes are typically added to make a product look like “eye candy” to the consumer. We allow the glow of the oils sitting on top of the water to take the stage. We use no added dyes, chemicals or synthetics so you can see what is truly in the product you use to clean your home or office. We have nothing to hide.
No added alcohols: We do not add ingredients such as emulsifiers or added alcohols to OHc. Because we are the first cleaner on the market to allow the essential oils to be the actual cleaning and mild disinfecting agent, you must simply “shake” the product well before each use. As a result, the aroma remains in its true form and is absolutely enjoyable.
Aroma: Lavender is well exploited for its aroma, yet the synthetic fragrance is mimicked so well that our senses are beginning to recognize “fake” for what should be real and natural. CLEANING POWER:
When it comes to cleaning power, OHc works fast. While you are receiving therapeutic benefits of the essential oils of eucalyptus, lavender, lemon and grapefruit, the cleaning power of the oils are at work on your household surfaces.
Suggested uses: For best results use a clean micro fiber cloth as a finishing touch to create an ultimate shine in your home. Remember to “shake” your bottle before each use as we use no added alcohols in our products as emulsifiers. Shake well and spray 3-5 sprays before shaking to spray again. To coincide with the natural benefits of cleaning, we suggest adding baking soda when scrubbing is required. As a finishing touch, spray and wipe with OHc.
Disinfectant: To use as a disinfectant, spray surface well and leave on for 10 minutes before continuing cleaning.
Degreaser: It quickly breaks up the residue of cooking oils, syrups and honey on your surfaces. Simply shake & spray with OHc and for those left on harder to clean spills; such as splattered grease on a stovetop. Leave the spray on for 10 minutes before you wipe. Remember, if you need an abrasive, sprinkle baking soda to your mixture.
Remove Residue: The first time you clean with OHc wiping a surface may require a few extra wipes. Allow OHc to completely rid your surfaces of residue through the working power of the essential oils and organic vinegar. Keep wiping in a circular motion as OHc removes the residue and surfactants your old cleaners left behind. Toilets: Spray all around and inside your toilet with OHc, sprinkle with baking soda. For best results, lightly scrub toilet and walk away. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes before scrubbing again before flushing. For those harder to clean spots & rings, let it sit for at least one hour or over night before scrubbing and flushing. Remember, you are disinfecting your toilet naturally with no harm to you!
Room deodorizer: Shake well and spray in the air to kill airborne bacteria and naturally deodorize and eliminate odor.
Caution: Due to the stimulating effects of the eucalyptus essential oil used in OHc, epileptics should use with caution. Pregnant women should consult their doctors when using essential oils.
